Neal is a business litigator with extensive experience representing clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes in court, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.  Neal has successfully represented companies and individuals in an array of matters, including breach of contract claims, trade secret disputes, IP cases, employment disputes, securities fraud actions, and shareholder derivative suits.  Neal has also represented plaintiffs and defendants in class actions in both state and federal courts, including employment, consumer, and securities actions.

Neal also advises companies regarding intricate issues including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and employment matters including wage-and-hour matters, personnel decisions, and employee allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. 

Prior to joining Koning Zollar LLP, Neal was an attorney at Cooley LLP, a leading international law firm.  While attending the University of San Diego School of Law, Neal was a judicial extern to the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown, United States Court of Appeals Judge for the Ninth Circuit, and to the Honorable M. James Lorenz, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of California.  Additionally, Neal served as a Lead Articles Editor for the San Diego Law Review and as a member of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team.
